The vikings travelled so far abroad that it baffles the mind. Originally, historians thought that they only made inroads into England and France. We now know they travelled to Istanbul and farther. The purple lines follow the path these ancient voyagers must have taken. Original is ink and illustration marker on watercolor paper, 22 x 30. Prints are available at full size, as well as scaled down to traditional sizes for ease of framing.
