Map Info
What if there were a whole Land of Caffeine? Mountains of Tea, Lakes of Milk, and of course, a Coffee Swamp. A Cold Brew Tundra pins down the upper right hand corner, and Lemon Groves and Ginger Meadows make up the more temperate regions. Original is ink on antique watercolor paper, 20 x 26. Prints are available true to size, but also scaled down to traditional sizes for ease of framing.
Note: If printed in smaller sizes, words may not be readable.
Artist's Note
There's a Honey Coombe. A honey coombe. Are you tired? I'm tired.
Truthfully, one night my husband and I were talking about tea, and he said, "what, with all the tea in the world piled into one big mountain?" and thus the idea was born. I have a sleep disorder, and a big part of my life is just being extra tired, so the idea of a Land of Caffeine seems like the Elysian Fields to me.
The arrow pointing to the Land of Booze is merely speculative at this point. That map has yet to manifest itself. Maybe with another cup of coffee.
